According to reports, a 66-year-old man in Germany has allegedly suffered a serious injury to his groin after being attacked by his pet dog.
Neighbors called the police around 2 a.m. on Tuesday after hearing the man’s dog barking non-stop at his home in Herne, northwestern Germany. When emergency services arrived, they heard cries of pain coming from inside the house. They forced their way in and found the man injured and in need of urgent medical attention.
No further details have been released about the incident, and it is believed that the man’s genitals are still missing. The man is currently unable to provide any information about what happened to him because of his health condition. Authorities suspect that the man’s injuries were caused by his own dog.
First Police Chief Inspector Frank Lemanis told reporters that the man was placed in an artificial coma when he arrived at the hospital.‘One possibility, of course, is that the dog, which is around the size of a Jack Russell terrier, bit off and ate the penis. The wound could potentially have been caused by a bite.
