The unfortunate hotel steward Mr Valentine Ozigbo has never really thought about running for gubernatorial election in 2021, rather he came to make money in which he succeeded.
For Val Ozigbo to say that PDP aspirants betrayed him is like the pot calling the kettle black, but beyond that, a thief is always the first to accuse the innocent of stealing.
How can anyone take Ozigbo seriously when he started building an Estate in Enugu and a hotel in Lekki soon after he lost the election, using the huge amount of funds he garnered from different angles by posing as Anambra PDP candidate in 2021?
See who is talking about transactional politicians, when he was the only person who actually cashed out in his ill-fated political attempt that ended up in a fatal crash!
Ndi Anambra should know that Ozigbo was the one who injected bad blood into the PDP. A party which was so promising and positioned to win the election until he came up with his venomous strike and disparaged every other aspirant, while positioning himself as a Saint.
Val Ozigbo chased away very responsible and respectable PDP stakeholders with his despicable character, thinking that they would stand on his way of raising funds for his personal interest as PDP candidate.
Ozigbo betrayed practically everyone that worked for him and those that contested the PDP ticket with him, which led to a mass exodus of many prominent personalities from the party; a development which fitted perfectly into his game plan of wrecking the party for personal aggrandizement.
A man who betrays virtually everyone that crosses his path cannot possibly be entrusted with any sensitive public portfolio, even as a Ward Councillor.
Now the selfish ingrate Valentine Ozigbo is asking for a single term of four years to replace Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo, a man who has left unmatched legacies in just two years.
Ozigbo should know that the governance of Anambra state entails more than cleaning of dishes in a hotel kitchen, gatecrashing into ceremonies uninvited, and tagging along Peter Obi at every occasion.
Peter Obi has ran his own election which most Anambrarians keyed into and gave it a commendable push, but Okwute should know that Ndi Anambra are not fools and cannot be fooled again by anyone whosoever. The people Valentine Ozigbo betrayed can never be happy with anyone supporting that traitor, including Peter Obi, hence the need for utmost caution in the coming political season.
Ozigbo should, forget about Anambra governorship seat, and enjoy his loot. Otherwise, he will be disgraced at the primary level this time around and collapse into political oblivion with his gullible minority, because all the people he betrayed are waiting for him.
